The workshop celebrated 94 years of Vietnam Trade Union (28/7/1929-28/7/2023) and 25 years of establishment of Petroleum Design Consulting Corporation – Joint Stock Company (24/7/1998-24/7/2023)

After the success of the Green – Clean – Beautiful 5S emulation movement at the office, recently on August 28, 2023, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Petroleum Design Consulting Corporation organized a PVE Cup Football Tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Trade Union (28/7/1929-28/7/2023) and 25 years of establishment of Petroleum Design Consulting Corporation – Joint Stock Company (24/7/1998-24/7/2023) with the section aiming to create an atmosphere of excitement, health training to improve the spirit of sports for officials and employees after working time,

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Trade Union and the Corporation: Mr. Le Mai Phuong – Vice Chairman of TCT Trade Union – Chairman of the Trade Union of Design Consulting Center/Deputy Director of the Center and members of the Executive Committee of TCT Trade Union.

Mrs. Le Mai Phuong said: “This year’s event was full of excitement to show the spirit of joy and solidarity, in addition, the final result was very unexpected, and this football tournament also helped to bond emotionally between staff, so this event was successful beyond expectations”.

The PVE Cup Football Tournament is a useful sports activity to help connect all employees and employees of the whole Corporation; create cultural values and promote the emulation movement to build cultural life at the Corporation and its member companies. At the same time, the Sports Conference also aims to identify and nurture collectives and individuals with good talents/movements, becoming the core nucleus at the unit to develop the labor movement of the Oil and Gas industry to constantly grow, meet new requirements and tasks.

After the registration period from 31/07/2023 to 06/08/2023, the Organizing Committee of the PVE Cup Football Tournament received the enthusiastic response and participation of all employees of the Corporation and its member companies. The registration list for the workshop includes 04 teams as follows: Design Consulting Center Team 1 (DEC 1), Design Consulting Center Team 2 (DEC 2), Office Team (TCHC Board, Board of Directors, Board of Finance and Finance) and the joint force team (PMC-SC) of 02 member companies: PVE-SC Petroleum Survey Consulting Joint Stock Company and PVE-PMC Petroleum Project Management Consulting Joint Stock Company.

PVE Cup Opening Ceremony

On the afternoon of August 28, 2023, the official opening of the PVE Cup Football Tournament Games. The format of the competition was a knockout match; takes place simultaneously between 04 teams, divided into 02 pairs; 02 winning teams will compete for the final, 02 losing teams will compete for 3rd place. The prize structure includes: First prize: 3,000,000 VND, Second prize: 2,000,000 VND, Third prize: 1,500,000 VND, Player of the match award: 500,000 VND, Best goalkeeper award: 500,000 VND.

The two matches were played at the same time, match 01: Office Team vs. DEC1 Team, match 02: DEC2 vs. PMC-SC Coalition. The match was played in 02 Rounds, each half was 15 minutes, the break between each half was 05 minutes.

PMC-SC Joint Team

Match 01: Office Team vs. DEC Team 1. The lucky draw pushed the Office Block team to meet the championship contenders of the DEC 1 Team tournament. With the youth of the 25-year-olds, the experience of playing cohesively and also the team with the number of members representing PVE to compete in the Four Heroes Cup to win the championship. The match was in full swing from the first minutes, and it was not difficult to predict the first half of the match to be 3-0 in favor of Team DEC 1; boys with youthful, strong and technical skills such as Lam Duy Tan, Le Van Binh, Ho Han Tien and Dau Xuan Cuong competed to bombard the goal of the Office Team with powerful long shots to bring a 3-0 victory for the first half. In the 2nd half, the rhythm of the match decreased, DEC 1 team replaced key players with reserve players, the substitutes of DEC 1 also had relatively high professional quality. The Office Team rallied strongly in the 2nd Half, but chances slipped through the feet of the Office Team’s defenders, and whatever came when DEC 1 Team made it 4-0. The match seemed to end with a score of 4-0 but with the tireless efforts of the Office Block team, they scored 01 honorable goal to bring the score to close 4-1 for the DEC 1 team. Result: DEC 1 team competed for the final, Office Division team competed for 3rd place.

Match 01: DEC Team 1 – Office Team

Match 02: The PMC-SC team meets the DEC 2 team. It seemed that the DEC 2 team against the PMC-SC Joint Team was a fluke, but the development on the field was far from everyone’s expectations, the PMC-SC Joint Team was the team with the highest average age of the tournament, with their experience and toughness excellently held the DEC 2 Team to a draw. The match ended 1–1, the two pairs going into a penalty shootout full of chance. With a bit of luck when the first penalty taker of Team DEC 2 wearing the number 10 jersey sent the ball off the post, the rest of the players of 02 teams all succeeded, the final result of the penalty shootout: 5-4 in favor of the PMC-SC team. With this result, the PMC-SC Joint Team entered the final, a big surprise of the tournament, Team DEC 2 competed for third place against the Office Block Team.

Match 02: PMC-SC Joint Team – DEC Team 2

3rd place match: DEC 2 team vs. Office Block Team. With the addition of super striker Trinh Quang Dien, the excellence of the goalkeeper, the Office Block Team won the final with the score: 8-3 and won the 3rd Prize overall.

Final match: PMC-SC Joint Team vs. DEC 1. There were no surprises when the DEC 1 contenders entered the game quickly, with a quality lineup and skillful tiki-taka ball coordination, the DEC 1 Team players won the final with a bold scoreline: 10-2. Officially crowned champion of the PVE Cup, At the same time, he won the best player award in the tournament: The Golden Foot Award went to Lam Duy Tan, a young man with the age of 25 equal to the number of years of the Corporation’s founding anniversary, an interesting coincidence.

Final match: DEC1 – PMC-SC Coalition

At the end of the PVE Cup Football Tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 05 prizes:

01 First prize: Design Consulting Center 01 (DEC 1)
01 Second prize: PMC-SC coalition
01 Third prize: Office block
01 award for Best Player: Lam Duy Tan (DEC 1)
01 award for Best Goalkeeper: Goalkeeper Tran Duc Chinh (Office Team)

After this football tournament, in the spirit of “Do your best – play hard”, in addition to our players who have excellently shown healthy sportsmanship, playing hard, it is impossible not to mention the contribution of the Organizing Committee who is both the planner to prepare for the tournament and the most enthusiastic fans, helping the workshop to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Petroleum Design Consulting Corporation took place successfully.
